Account Verification After Login At BetStar
After you sign in, BetStar may ask you to verify your account before you can withdraw, raise limits, or keep using certain payment methods. The check links your profile details to documents and confirms you are the real account holder.
Verification is triggered when you request your first withdrawal, when your deposit or withdrawal patterns change, when you update personal details (name, address, phone, email), or when the system flags a mismatch between account data and payment data.
BetStar also requests verification when you use a new card or e-wallet, when you try to withdraw to a different payment method than the one used for deposits, or when a transaction is reversed and the payment provider requires extra checks.
Age and identity checks apply when the date of birth is missing, looks inconsistent, or cannot be confirmed through internal checks. Duplicate or linked accounts, shared devices, and repeated login attempts from new locations can also lead to a document request.
Document requirements depend on what needs to be confirmed. Most requests fall into three categories: identity, address, and payment method ownership.
- ID: A clear photo or scan of a government-issued document (passport, national ID card, or driving licence). BetStar typically needs the full document visible, in colour, with readable numbers and an uncut image.
- Address: A recent proof of address showing your full name and residential address, such as a utility bill, bank statement, or government letter. Many operators accept documents dated within the last 90 days.
- Payment Method: Evidence that the payment method belongs to you. For cards, this is commonly a photo of the card with the middle digits covered and only the last 4 digits visible. For e-wallets, it is usually a screenshot of the wallet profile page showing your name and account email or ID, plus relevant transaction details.
- Source Of Funds (When Requested): Documents that explain where the money comes from, such as payslips, a bank statement showing salary credits, or tax documents. This request appears when deposit volume or withdrawal amounts rise sharply or do not match earlier activity.
